The modern student is bombarded with assignments and events on multiple platforms (Blackboard, Canvas, Piazza, syllabi, lectures). Not only is it illogical to spread academic information across multiple platforms, it also doesn't make sense for students to micro-manage their calendars in isolation when their peers share many of the same classes, clubs, and social events. Docket is a social calendar that organizes a student's academic life in one place. Docket is how student calendars should be. On Docket, students can browse their campus ecosystem for genres of events they are interested in, create their own streams for parties or study groups, and join calendars for their classes. All calendars are crowd-sourced, meaning if one student adds an assignment deadline or changes the party location, all the other students in the calendar get the update.
